Danielle Dulchinos

Danielle is a Salt Lake City-based draper, tailor, and dresser/set costumer. She has a bachelors degree in theater and television & film communications from Elon University and recently received her MFA in costume production at Carnegie Mellon University.

As a costume maker for theater and film, Danielle’s work as a draper and stitcher is largely informed by historic techniques. She gravitates towards silhouettes and styles based in history, and the approaches and methods used in garment production throughout the various centuries.

Her hand sewn recreation of an eighteenth century gown won the UK Costume Society’s Pattern of Fashion Award in 2024.

Danielle’s period tailoring work was recently seen onstage in City Theater Company’s Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley and Carnegie Mellon University’s A Little Night Music. Additional recent credits include working as a travel tailor on Taylor Swift’s The Era’s Tour and as a swing dresser on POTUS on Broadway.

Before working full time in entertainment costuming, Danielle worked for both The Daily Front Row and Men’s Health Magazine as an intern and fashion assistant.
